The Great Bachelorette Party

Auntie Misty is getting married!!

Misty popped up for a weekend visit so we were able to celebrate her with a fun bachelorette party.
The girls and Grandma and I had so much fun planning and putting together a variety of crafts, games and food.

Making picture frames for photos from the night.

Wedding themed Pictionary.

We also managed some time to go for a walk at the BX.  It was s pretty.

The girls were spoiled by Auntie for their birthday:)

January 2018

January.
 A new year.
I love the fresh start of new things.  New opportunities and adventure.
I am finding there are so many fun things in Vernon!
It has been hard to say no to the many great activities and opportunities, so January was the month of saying yes!
The kids have been busy with school, community class, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, piano, Jr. youth and GEMS!

We are also so blessed to see Gigi several times each week.  She is amazing!

Grandma often takes the kids out on individual dates with Gigi.
A special lunch outing.

Cupcake decorating at GEMS.

A visit from friends and a visit to the pool.

A big bubble.

Caileigh meets with friends to work on Social Studies each Monday.

Silver Star skiing and snowboarding!!  We were able to introduce the kids to this sport through homeschool skiing and snowboarding lessons.  They loved it and all progressed very quickly!
Caileigh's friend invited her back to do another month's sessions so Caileigh is continuing with her snowboarding through February.  Aiden also attends snowboard lessons from a world champion!  This has become his favourite event of the week and Aiden is learning so much.  Aiden's been invited to join the freestyle club so we'll have to work hard to make sure we can make this work next year.
