Gymnastics

We just finished a busy season of gymnastics.  The girls have been enjoying classes since September and the boys since January.  There are a wonderful group of coaches and fun classes for the kids.  Last night was the year end performance.  It was so fun to see the kids show off their practiced skills. The pictures aren't great but give a little glimpse.

Girls ready for the show.

The boys little ninja routine.

Caileigh's ball routine.

Wedding Trip

Friday, we were thankful to leave behind the snowy Cariboo weather!

We stopped at the Alexandra bridge.  I've wanted to stop here for some time and it was a beautiful walk that we all enjoyed.

We visited with Gigi and Poppa.

The kids gave a little piano concert and the girls sang songs for a few residents.

Cheering on the residents during bowling.

We all enjoyed dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.Friday night.  I just wish I hadn't left my purse behind and had to make the trek back the next day to retrieve it.

The boys enjoyed their lunch date with Sean and I while the others were with Gramma.  They kept saying, "Imagine how quiet it would be with just the two of us!"  :)

Saturday was Jana's wedding!  It was a beautiful event and we all had such a wonderful time.  The kids enjoyed the dancing and did so for non-stop hours.  It was great to see family that we haven't seen in awhile.

Sunday the kids were all up early for a morning swim before leaving the hotel.
We have been watching three chrysalis over the last week waiting for them to come out.  When I realized that they were going to be hatching over the weekend we brought them with us!  We were then able to release the butterflies at Auntie Margaret's house in memory of her.

We had a visit with Auntie Ina in her new home.

After visiting with family over lunch, we made the trek home.
A wonderful weekend!

Mothers Day

The kids and I enjoyed a lovely mothers day this year.   I taught Sunday School and then we had a relaxing afternoon.  The kids threw a tea party for me and put on a dance show.  Thankful for such sweet thoughtful kids.
