Poppa's Pasing

A few weeks ago we enjoyed one of the nicest visits with Poppa.  He was alert, cheerful and engaging.  I am so thankful for this time we were able to spend with him as on July 20th, Poppa passed away.  He will be so missed by everyone as he has been such a strong presence in our family.

Auntie Misty & Uncle Randy

We had a wonderful visit with Auntie Misty and Uncle Randy.  We enjoyed hiking to the top of the 100 Mile Ski Hill and spending time visiting and catching up with one another.  Alex and Jordan enjoyed a special birthday lunch.  Thankful for our time together.

Biking and Baking

Aiden is passionate about biking.  Each day he spends hours biking, researching biking and building jumps.  Aiden decided to turn his passion into an activity for his friends to join.  In June, Aiden hosted a bike rodeo.  It was a fun event full of various challenges, RCMP visitor, races and prizes.  Aiden did a great job teaching his friends some basic bike safety while having fun together.  He hopes to do this regularly.

Caileigh is passionate about baking.  This summer she turned her baking into a business and is busy each week making orders to sell.  She decided to host a baking class with a few friends.  Caileigh taught the group of girls how to make Anzac biscuits, what Caileigh calls her speciality, and by far her most ordered product.   Caileigh is planing to host a baking class each month.  Next month they're making Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins!

While one group was busy baking, Mikayla set up crafts for the other girls to do.  This is Mikayla's interest, art and crafts.
