May

I've gotten lazy with my blogging in the past year or so.  I find myself dumping all my cell phone photos at the end of each month but I lack the details and updates that I used to enjoy.  Today Caileigh pulled all the past memory books out and I was loving all the details I had added.  It gave me such a great glimpse into our lives.  I'd like to do a better job of doing that again.  At times it will be a little more challenging as the kids are getting older and want more privacy but I will share what I can.

Visit with our homeschool teacher.  We will so miss Mrs. Lomavatu!  We have been meeting with her since Aiden's grade 1 year.  She is such a support and encouragement to me and has helped us along our homeschool journey.  We will miss her when we move.  Our new teacher is located out of Kelowna.

Whenever younger kids are over, Caileigh takes on a teacher role.  She loves to provide activities for them.

A walk in the valley.  A favourite spot of ours.

I visited Aiden in one of his bike jumping spots one day.  It was neat to see all his jumps that he has built.

Our kids have never been to Subway so we created a WattsWay and let the kids choose their own sandwiches.

Nightly sleep overs with Sean out of town.

Sean was visiting one weekend and we tried to think of an activity that would tire the kids out, but allow us to relax.  First time taking the kids swimming and sitting on the sidelines!!  Can't wait for more inexpensive swim costs.  Was $40 for the five kids:(

Mother's Day Sunday.  Waiting in the car after church.

We took a family walk in the Valley.

Ice Cream cake!  My favourite!  Was a birthday/mother's day treat.

A hike to the waterfall.

Haven't taken a bath picture in a while and guessing it's one of the last:)

Taking photos with friends and then making frames to put them in.

Cards with Mik and Av

Morning quiet reading time

Lunch with friends.  A common occurrence.

Mik is a heat seeker always looking for warmth.

Buddy too!

Dirty, dirty boys.

Caileigh made cookies to sell at a neighbours garage sale.

Cookie stand

Love these quilts that our neighbour made the kids.

Park play on nice days.

First dinner of the year on the deck.

Aiden is all about spicy foods.  The spicier the better and he always enjoys trying new kinds.

They don't often want to dress the same.  Jordan doesn't like people not knowing who he is.  This particular Sunday they had fun dressing alike but by the time we left they had changed into different shorts.

Mik and CAileigh are into everything Shopkins these days.  They love collecting them and trading with friends.

Summer School.  Boys are making insect books.

Aiden has officially taken over the yard work now.  He's been keeping busy mowing and weed eating for neighbours and friends too.

A visit to the Heritage site on opening weekend.

Lemonade stand.  We've come a long way in style since our first.

Dr.s waiting rooms.  Gotta love them.

A visit to the farm to visit our friends.

First bonfire of the year.
My garden is looking pretty bad this year!  No point in planting anything with the move but I do plan to give it a weed before the new owners come.

Friends joined us!

I love capturing moments like this when all the kids are playing together.

Sprinkler and trampoline.  Hot day fun.

Sometimes their creative play makes me smile:)

Time without kids!!  We went furniture shopping, coffee drinking and renewed our insurance!

A visit from Nanee and Rupee.  Nanee and the kids played Bingo complete with prizes.

The view on my morning run.  Stunning.

The kids found an interesting moth.

Lot's of stories with Nanee.

Frisbee with Bupee.
