When Sean goes out of town

Field Trip and Back to Co-op!

Yesterday we visited the Xat'sull Native Center north of Williams Lake with fellow homeschoolers

.  We learned all about the native cultures of the area.  We were also able to visit Soda Creek Farm and pick our own fresh corn on the cob!

Today we were back to co-op!  We had show and tell and celebrated our September birthday.

Camping!!

Our first camping trip all together!!  Succesfully sleeping in the motor home last week, plus the fact Sean had 3 days off in a row, led us to decide t go camping. 

We even managed to surprise the kids.  Somehow we packed up the motor home without them noticing.  Getting past Aiden is a huge feat. We then told them Sean had to empty the motor home  septic tank and that we would drive out to make sure he was ok.  

We have been having a blast!  There have been cold nights but warm days.  Lots of bike riding, fishing, walking, eating, and playing in dirt!

Only a few scrapes and bruises and one mishap as Jordan decided to be "tricky" and rode his bike right off the dock.  Thankfully into only a foot of water.  Sean got an unexpected fully clothed swim:)

A great adventure and now anticipating more to come!
