Mikayla Elianne Watson

Baby Mikayla arrived Dec 29 at 8:43. She weighs 7 lbs 6 1/2 oz and is 21 inches long. She seems sooooo small compared to the other two kids. Delivery was fantastic and I am feeling very good. Mikayla and I arrived home this afternoon and it feels so great to be home. Aiden and Caileigh seem to adore her and I think my challenge will lie in giving Mikayla some space. The first day of Mikayla's life she was named Jordyn. Sean arrived around 8:30 at night to visit and mentioned that he really liked the name Mikayla. He had never mentioned this to me before and it was so thrilling to see him take interest in the naming process so I replied, "Great, that's her name!" I find it a little similiar to Caileigh and actually keep calling her that. My Dad points out that it could be a positive if I call one child and they both come running!!
My head is spinning a little and I have probably forgotten a lot of detail so I will give another update later in the week.

There's a baby coming........

It is 5:21 and I am just getting ready to head off to the hospital to have this baby!! How surreal. Amidst the headache, exhaustation and congestion, I am sooooooo EXCITED!!! Boy? Girl? Big? Small? I can't wait to see my baby!!!!
