At 11 months..........

Looking out the window is a favorite activity for you both.
Alex, you play very well independently.
Sometimes, a little too much. You love breaking into the DVD's and scattering them around the living room.
When you get frustrated and give up, Jordan is always near by to lend you a helping hand.
An activity I had been dreading......letting you eat on your own! What fun you both had abandoning the spoons and digging into the yogourt with your hands.
{Alex}

Jordan, you love trying to grab the camera while I am taking photos of you. I can clearly see your 2 teeth and a 3rd trying to poke through.
Working on your walking skills. Although you can't be called a full time walker, you certainly spend your days practicing.
Alex, you were so pleased that Mikayla gave you her cookie. The evidence was all over your face.
Alex, a cruising boy. You took your first steps yesterday! (may29th)
Jordan, you enjoy a variety of toys.
Alex, you always have a ready grin. You are the master of expressions.
Jordan, you love breaking free from the confines of the living room and exploring the rest of the house!
Peek-a-boo!

Balls are a favorite for both of you. Here you are Alex, getting ready to throw the ball over your head.
I love hearing the sounds of giggling as you two play together. The games can be simple but they give you much pleasure.
Alex, you currently have 3 teeth and a smile that melts my heart.
Jordan, you equally melt my heart with your observing gazes.
You are definitely two peas in a pod although one of a kind!

Happy 11 months boys!

A few other points for memory:
*It has become challenging lately because you both feed off each other. If one of you is crying and in need of my attention, the other will begin to cry and try to capture my attention also. There are times you are both clinging and crying for me. If I pick up Alex and tell him it is time for his nap, Jordan will start to cry and want to be picked up. As Daddy says, "just go ahead and pick one......you know whoever you pick, it will be the wrong choice!"
*You have both mastered the "fake" cry
*You both wave and say, "hi"
*You nap twice a day although lately there have been days where it is only once. I live in fear of the day you decide to drop the extra nap!
*Eat 3 big meals as well as snakcs
*Nurse, but enjoy sipping water from sippy cups. More in a "water play" sort of way than for actual thrist
*Wear 18 month clothing
*Size 5 diapers

Walking Boy

Jordan is walking!! He is taking more and more steps each day and is incredibly proud of himself. Each time he walks he is rewarded with cheering from his excited brother and sisters.
Alex is starting to stand solo from time to time but we'll update when he takes his first steps!

Auntie Misty visited this weekend and we enjoyed a wonderful day at Centennial Park.

The ever popular swings.

We went on a beautiful hike up a trail to the waterfalls.
