Jordan, you are 10 months old today. Bright eyed, cheerful, cuddly and strong are a few words I would use to describe you. In recent months you have been a little leery of new people, yet when Bupee Garling visited last week you were friendly and social. You are getting close to walking and spend your days cruising along the window sills and couches. You like to walk behind the walker and wave out the window saying "ah" with the intonation of "hi". You love eating, bathing, playing outside. You have one bottom tooth.

Alex, you are 10 months old today. Independent, wiggly, goofy and entertaining are a few words I would use to describe you. You love making faces to make people laugh. You remind me of Caileigh at this age as you wrinkle up your nose and sniff loudly showing off your 2 new bottom teeth. You like to explore behind the couch and try to find ways to escape the living room. You enjoy bath, outside play and standing in the exersaucer. You are starting to crawl traditionally now. You also cruise the couches yet aren't eager to try walking with the walker.

You are both starting to become more vocal and determined with your wants. One of you will be playing with a toy and the other comes and takes it away. You squeal with upset and then sit back and wait for your moment to grab the toy back. This goes back and forth until someone decides to move on.
{Jordan/Alex}
This particular lion toy is the fuel for many disagreements. You both like to chew on it's tail and crawl around carrying it in your mouth like a dog.
You have both spent the last week sick with a cold. As miserable and clingy as you both have been, you have still been relatively happy. I have finally figured out a way that we can all go grocery shopping and Jordan you were so excited to be sitting in the grocery cart. You were flashing smiles to everyone we met. Alex, you were doing the same from the Ergo.
{Jordan}

You have both been sleeping well. You go down around 6:30/7 and then wake up several times before 10. You then usually sleep through until 6ish. You have a morning nap around 9-10:30/11 and a second one around 1:30-2:30/3.
{Alex}
I am in the midst of such a beautiful, enjoyable, thankful time in my life and I am so blessed to be Mom to such unique, individual boys.
Happy 10 months!!

Getting closer......

Yesterday we realized that Jordan can walk with the assistance of the walker. While I was busy making dinner, Sean went to pick Jordan up. He reached for him and just as Jordan was about to grab his hands, he took several steps forward!! We tried to get him to do it again today but he was on to us and not willing to give it a try. I did manage to grab a video of him walking with the walker.

Happy Birthday Sean

I hope this next year can be as exciting, fulfilling and amazing as the last!!
Love you.....More!

Wagon Boys

The boys have great fun being able to see each other across in the wagon. They flap their arms, "chat" and make funny faces at one another.

A Visit

Thursday afternoon, Bupee and Uncle Matt arrived for a visit. I didn't tell the kids that it was the day they were coming and they were extremely surprised and excited when they pulled up in our yard! We have been to the park, played a ton outside (it is warm!) and read a lot of books. It has been an enjoyable visit.

When we lived in Prince Rupert, I was friends with Deb and her son Isaac. Isaac was 16 months older then Aiden and they used to have a blast running around and "discussing" all things 'digger'. Since leaving Rupert four years ago, we have not seen them. I had never met Nadya (3), who is another December baby right between Caileigh and Mikayla. This past week they came for a visit. It was neat to see how much the kids had grown and watch them interact.

Here is a video of Aiden 1 and Isaac 2 back in Prince Rupert.

Here's the gang now.
Lot's of dress up.

The Dentist

We went to the most exciting place! Believe it or not, it was the Dentist! The Kids Only Dental Clinic in Williams lake was incredible. The kids got to watch a video while they checked their teeth and the dentist made them balloon animals. A very cool experience and one which has helped to alleviate Aiden's previous fears! Mikayla had her first check up and was a pro in the chair. I dare say, I can't wait to go back!
