Look at these angelic faces.
So sweet. So energetic. Still so mischievous!
Last week alone they broke the glass on the gas fireplace(Alex), cut the wire to my printer(apparently nobody did it?!), broke the blinds off the wall(Jordan), split their tongue(Alex), coloured on the walls with permanent maker (both) and a myriad of other unmentionables. They come to me with downcast faces to tell me, "Sorry Mommy, I did it on purpose." I believe they mean by accident but the interpretation could really go either way:)
It really is such a unique dynamic having two the same age where they can be partners in crime and provide each other with the courage to do things they might not (or maybe they would) do on their own. They are very close. If they are hurt or upset the first thing they want is their blankies, or each other. If I tell them they can't have, or do something, they tell me that I've "hurt their feelings".
Each on their own they can be so attentive and calm. During meals they sit through 1/2 hour of read alouds and seem to follow the plot with the older kids.
They are super snuggly and friendly and love getting to spend time with people. They tell me that they love me so much and it melts my heart every time. They've also taken to calling me, "Mama", which I find very endearing. They love being read to, playing with Lego and colouring. They are into pirates, super heroes, trains and cars.
Alex recently learned to write his name and can do so independently. Jordan wrote his name with my guidance but is great at practicing j's and o's on his own.
Alex drew me. See how happy I am!
Aiden has started a Lego club with the boys and he has been making them various creations that they love to run around with. They really enjoy their time spent with Aiden!
Caileigh loves to take care of them by hugging them, getting them snacks, playing with them and tucking them in at night with a story.
Mikayla and the boys often play together but sometimes it means the mischief they get into only increases:)

I truly find it hard to believe that they are 3 1/2. They are growing up into little (big) boys that are so much fun to have around. Looking forward to see what new adventures they bring...........
so very sweet, those boys! makes it hard to be perturbed at them, hey? :)
