The lack of the 30th this month has thrown me for a curve. I can't believe the boys are 20 months old! How can they be 4 months away from 2? Mybabies! I can say that they are so much fun right now. Words are becoming clearer each day and they are able to let their needs be known.
The boys love going to Tumble Time each week. Sometimes Sean takes the younger three and he says that the boys sit on his lap feeling too shy to participate. Yesterday I took the younger 4 and the boys did great. Jordan was so thrilled that Caileigh was there. He would run up to her, smile and hug her, and then run back to me to point at Caileigh and smile. He sat right beside her trying to do the actions in songs and moving his body side to side to the music. Alex sat on my lap most of the time but he was happy and would giggle if I moved his arms to the music. Snack time is probably their favorite moment. Mikayla adores Tumble Time and I love that we can do something special with the three youngest each week.
{I love how sometimes they are fully interactive with each other, and other times it is as though they are completely unaware of each other}
We recently brought up Aiden's old mega blocks. Although Jordan enjoys them, it is the tote that he has his eye on. Do not try and take him away from this tote or I fear that he will bite you........yes, Jordan has become a biter. We are working on this behavior but in the meantime his poor brothers and sisters have horrible bruises and teeth marks to show.
A few other things:
*Both fully weaned at 19 months
*Scream, throw themselves on the ground in protest
*Jordan is biting
*Alex is hitting
*Both become completely excited when they see Sean, "Daddy!!!"
*One nap (around 2 hours)
*Love to climb (Jordan got onto the roof of the playhouse yesterday)
the inside playhouse, or the outside one??
ReplyDeleteAlmost 2 years old! They are not babies anymore... Crazy!
ReplyDeleteAlex and Anna were both biters. I can't write here what I ended up having to do but lets just say that it was drastic, made me cry and worked.
ReplyDeleteOh they won't turn two. Just ask them to stop growing. Right? (wink)
