I don't have a lot to complain about. Our kids are healthy and full of vibrant energy. We have fun filled days and by 7:30pm, all kids are asleep. Most nights the older two stay in their beds and Mikayla is up 2-3 times but eats and is quickly back to sleep. However, I am not fond of Mikayla waking up at 4:45am and deciding it is time to wake up. After I feed her she begins her squawking session. Her loud, piercing voice continues to declare morning until I get up to see her. I am then rewarded with a huge smile. I don't want to smile back. I put her in the swing where she continues to "chat" until I finally get her up. This chatting has been waking the other two and they are upstairs playing and rough housing by 5:30. I know this is just a stage and things shall pass but these last 2 weeks have been a little trying.
An example of Mikayla's morning voice. You may have to listen a few seconds before she starts.
Here are the kids at 6am, after having already been up for 1/2 hour. At least they were playing well!!
Bug Factory??? lol What imaginations!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Caileigh's morning zombie face. What's in your kids' genetics that they wake up so stinkin early?
