A bit of lately.......

So many fun things to do in December!

We received the materials to make a candy manger scene from the church dinner.  I let the kids decorate it all on their own.

We had our co-op christmas party.  Each child brought a toy from home, to give to another child.  They had so much fun choosing "gifts" to share with their friends.  The kids also decorated a cake and made crafts.

After the co-op party we had the annual christmas piano recital.  The kids played well.  After a long day of partying and then two hours of piano playing, poor Mikayla just couldn't last any longer.

The kids loved dog walking for friends.  Such a sweet dog!

Fishing in a puddle, of course!

Lot's of baking!  I have so many helpers now.

A couple of borrowed helpers this day :)

Marshmallow toss in the evenings.

Christmas Tree 2014

Church Dinner 2014

It was our annual church dinner last night.  The kids always really enjoy this evening.  They were able to participate in many ways this year from decorating the church, making gifts for each family attending, singing songs with the sunday school and playing the piano.  It was a fun evening for everyone.

Ice Rink

Two years ago, Sean tried to build an ice rink and it didn't work. (built too close to the septic field and a hole/leak in the tarp)  He decided to try again this year but made the rink smaller and at the front of the yard.  We are so excited that it worked!  The kids all loved skating.  I even skated for the first time in roughly 20 years.  I'm even thinking if this homeschool gig doesn't work out, I may try out for the ice capades!!

Here's a little game called, "guess the culprit".  Can you guess who took multiple pictures on the iPad?
Alex or Jordan?
