August was a month of extremes. When the wind blew right, we enjoyed the outdoors and spent our time at the beach. When the winds shifted, we were stuck indoors with extremely poor air quality. We helped out at our church’s VBS and explored a little. We also continued with our weekly Pipeband performances as we were able. We even played extras in a Christmas movie. That was interesting dressing in winter gear on a hot, smokey August day.
