Last week we completed our final report card visit and now we can spend the next few months enjoying and exploring new interests.
Caileigh has been growing in her interest as a baker over the past year. As her summer project she has decided to start a small business. She does odd jobs and baking. After taking flyers around the neighbourhood she has been busy filling orders! She has filled two large baking orders and completed several hours of odd job work.

{Up at 6am to complete an order before a busy day}
{First order complete}
Aiden spends hours a day bike riding, building jumps, researching jumps and working on bike maintenance. It is a true passion of his. His summer project is to organize a bike rodeo for a group of kids. He has been researching, finding guest speakers, planning activities and working hard to make it a fun event. He is hoping that the event goes well and maybe he can work on bringing a bike rodeo to the community in the future.
Mikayla and the boys are busy learning a unit about butterflies. We have been observing our caterpillars turn into chrysalis and will be busy with crafts and activities throughout the next month.
Our activities are slowly winding down one by one. We're looking forward to participating in a twice weekly soccer league for June and then spending a quieter July and August without regular commitments.
