Sunday morning, Sean, the younger three and I, drove down to Vancouver to pick up Aiden and Caileigh.

Along the way I saw a bear and had Sean turn around on the highway so I could get a photo of it!

We stopped at Hope to let the kids run around while Sean picked up coffees for us.

We then head directly to the home where my grandparents are.
It was amazing to see them!
We had baked up some cookies so the kids had fun passing them out to the residents and staff.

Looking through old photo albums.

Shortly after we arrived, Aiden and Caileigh arrived!  The reunion between siblings was amazing to watch.  There were hugs and squeals all around.  It felt amazing to be surrounded by my whole family again.

The kids gave a little piano concert.

After we left the home we checked into the hotel and then went to Metrotown.  We wanted the boys to get a chance to ride the train.  Little did we know that the escalator would be equally exciting!

And the elevator!
Evidently small town kids:)

After a swim at the pool for the older three, it was a bit of TV and off to sleep.
The next morning we went back to visit with Gigi and Poppa before hitting the road back home.

Going through the canyon we ran into our good friends!  We had to stop at a rest stop so we could visit a bit in the shade.  (34 degrees)

We picked Buddy up from his first kennel experience and were all thrilled.  We also got a good report  and apparently Buddy hit it off with the owners dog and we've been invited back for a doggy play date.  I had been worried that Buddy's unruly ways would have us searching for a new kennel each time.

We arrived home just in time for Aiden and Cailiegh to quickly change and head off to golf camp.  They really enjoyed this and hope to continue taking golf lessons and improving on their skills.
