Snowboarding

Aiden has been wanting to go snowboarding for some time. Sean told him that if we were to go up the mountain, he would probably start with skiing. Aiden decided to take matters into his own hands and with his usual talent for creativity, came up with the concept of snowboarding.

And to top it off, he's actually pretty good!

We had fun celebrating Caileigh's birthday with another family. Between our families, there are 4 birthdays in December and January. We made picture frames, ate lunch and ate cupcakes. It was a great morning!

New Year's eve was a fun time spent playing Wii, eating appetizers, watching movies and spending time as a family. Despite the tired look from Mikayla, the oldest three kids stayed up until midnight! It was actually Mommy who went to bed early. I think that is the perfect way to start 2012.......rested!
