Safeway received an award for being a family friendly business.  Aiden was really excited to go as Sean's special guest.

Sean took the older three to the local Rodeo and they had a great time watching the events.  They all came home with new cowboy hats, courtesy of Gigi and Poppa who has given them some spending money!
The idea of identical twins and their identity has always intrigued me.  Both Alex and Jordan seem to have good grasp of who they are in that whenever you call a boy by name, he will respond appropriately. Jordan will also point to Alex and say, "Ala" (not to be mistaken with Lala, which means Mikayla)  Alex also has a way of pronouncing Jordan but it is difficult to type and not used a ton.  Recently, however, Jordan was looking in the mirror and pointed to his reflection and said, "Ala".  He said it several times and then would turn around to find Alex and would say, "Ala" again and laugh.  Again yesterday while we were outside, Jordan pointed to his reflection in my sunglasses and said, "Ala".  As the  boys gain more words it will be so interesting to watch this development.

It snowed at softball tonight.  Enough said.

We had Auntie Misty visiting this weekend and we had a wonderful time with her.  We had Mikayla's first soccer practice, a trip to Tim Hortons, and a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" movie night complete with chocolate cake!  We hadn't seen her in a year so it was definitely time for a visit.

Grandma is here visiting now and I am supposed to be putting laundry away. I figured I would delay by a few minutes to catch up on some photos.  Things continue to be busy as today alone we have Tumble Time, Piano, Running Club, Softball and it's my birthday!  Lot's of activity but all fun stuff.

Mikayla's First Soccer Practice

Mikayla kept saying, "I hate soccer, can we go home now!"  In all fairness, it was freezing!!  After we left the field there were snow flakes falling from the sky.
A quick trip to Tim Hortons seemed to warm us all up and Mikayla is already asking to go back to soccer.

Lately, the boys have been absolute goof balls during nap time.  They laugh, squeal, "chat" and play games with each other for hours.  I'll hear one saying, "hi" and then the other says, "hi" and this will go back and forth.  They'll kick the walls squealing with delight.  They throw all their blankets, books and stuffies out of the crib.  They have completely ripped off the plastic cover of their mattresses, plus ripped a zippered cover that I purchased,  and they are now working on ripping up the actual mattress and tossing it out.  When nap time is finally over, they are often still awake!  I wonder what it will be like when they are both in big boy beds!!

A quick video of their "quiet" nap.
