17 months!!

17 months at a glance...........

We had a visit from Bupee this week. It was great to spend time with him and introduce him to a northern winter. The weather was fairly mild while he was here but it did snow one night/morning and he got to make good use of his parka/boots/gloves! Always nice to see you Dad!

We were having dinner tonight when suddenly Mikayla exclaims, "Mommy, we haven't prayed for Haiti today!"

She solemnly bowed her head and prayed, "Dear God, thank you for Haiti, Amen"

"That was a silly prayer", Caileigh pipes up.

"Caileigh", I replied, "you must never tell someone that their prayer is silly. They are talking to God and that can never be silly."

Caileigh thinks about this a moment and says, "Yeah, I guess she'll eventually be as good as me."

I'm glad that God always knows exactly what we need.

Today was a great day!

Well, except for the whole toddler on the table thing.
